The transformation of an adventure to an artwork!
The journey to Greenland was very impressive. So I was intrigued to dip a bit deeper into my memories and see it all with the painters eyes. Here are the first results, more hopefully to follow! I had a lot of fun to convert my memories and photos into paintings. It was quite a new experience for me, as I usually don’t work with photos.. Here you can see, how I worked .

Most of these paintings are very small, (25x35cm on paper) like the settlements are very small in a vast and wide landscape. This is the color story of one on the paintings. Click to enlarge
